Hi Rachael, can you tell us a bit about the Jetty House.
The Jetty house is a four bedroom #waterfronthome with its own private jetty. The house sleeps 10 people, has 3 bathrooms, an amazing games room and has just been fully renovated. It’s a great house in an amazing location in Jervis Bay!
I have been to your house on a few occasions! Its gorgeous, the view is breath-taking. I can understand why you have such great reviews and so many of your guests return for more holidays at your place.
You were recently #married at the Jetty House and celebrated afterwards on the waterfront at Jervis Bay - I understand that getting married at the Jetty house is only an option for couples that are #eloping or having a small intimate wedding of no more than 8 guests (as the total number of guests that can stay at the Jetty house is 10). Can you tell us some more about all the benefits the Jetty House offers to couples who wish to #wed there – or on the beach while staying there. Perhaps you share some of your amazing pics, and the link to your photographer?!
The reserve in between the Jetty House and the water was the perfect spot for our ceremony as we both love the area and to have our family and friends celebrating the best day of our lives in the spot we love the most was amazing!
The background for our photos looked amazing and we even had some pics taken on the Jetty.

We had the #weddingreception at the community hall at Callala Beach which was amazing, we had the Wandering woodfire pizza truck setup in the front area and they provided us with antipasto platters, canapes and all you can eat pizzas and the guests absolutely loved them.
We had Travis from TJ Productions as our MC and DJ and offered a great package and really listed to the music we wanted for the night and did a great job as MC as well. The guests were on the dance floor right until the end.
If it isn’t the wedding weekend the #JettyHouse is also popular for Hens and Bucks weekends, what activities are available to either of these groups should they wish to celebrate the final countdown at the Jetty house.
The house is in such an amazing spot in #JervisBay there is so much to do you definitely won’t be short of activities for the weekend. If you want to spend the weekend on the water then you can either bring your own boat and moore it on the jetty, hire a boat from #Huskisson or catch the ferry over to Huskisson, they will even come to the private jetty and take you on a private tour! Also on the bay you can go on the whale watching, dolphin boats or even go on a chartered fishing tour. The #Shoalhaven region has a quite a few delightful vineyards that are gorgeous to visit and soak up the atmosphere, the wine tasting is worth your efforts too! There is a local bus service you can use to organise a private tour.
For food, there is the husky pub or club and plenty of restaurants or if you don’t want to head over to husky the local #Callala club has great food. You can have a game of golf or lawn bowls beforehand or head over to Greenwell Point for Chinese, definitely one of our favourite spots. Or you can catch your own food off the jetty!
If you prefer to stay at the house though the games room is well equipped, we’ve got the bbq ready to go and the amazing view is all you really need.
Destination South Coast is becoming very popular with couples planning their #wedding – do you have any advice to help couples with their plans – especially if they live out of the area.
I was lucky I had my amazing sister in law to help me plan who is a local so she offered great ideas on setting up the ceremony and the hall as well as pointing me in the right direction for the local wedding fairs to find some vendors there. The local facebook page also helped for recommendations.
Thank you, I think I'm a wonderful sister in law as well- haha! (Yes, thats me in the pic with you guys, doing the " I Dos!" & thank you for sharing your pics and your lovely #holidayhouse. It's been a quiet #honeymoon destination for those lucky newly weds in the past, yourselves included! It is also a great holiday house for family and friends to use when they are attending weddings at Callala Beach – and it’s the perfect opportunity to have pre-wedding photos.
